The Music Magazine Publishers Association
The Music Magazine Publishers Association (MMPA) is a membership organization established in 1996 by and for publishers of periodicals serving musicians and music enthusiasts. The MMPA has two primary purposes: to encourage positive perceptions and acceptance of musician-oriented magazines throughout all segments of the music products industry; and to facilitate the most efficient, cost-effective distribution and sale of music magazines in music retail outlets possible.
The Technology Institute for Music Educators
The Technology Institute for Music Educators (TI:ME) is a nonprofit corporation registered in the state of Pennsylvania whose mission is to assist music educators in applying technology to improve teaching and learning in music. TI:ME develops standards and course materials for music technology in-service training and maintains a certification program. TI:ME has been in existence since 1996.
