Carol Calato is the vice-president of J.D. Calato Manufacturing, a maker of percussion accessories. She is a member of the Music Distributors Association, the National Association of School Music Dealers, the Percussive Arts Society, Music Distributors Association and the Percussion Marketing Council. Calato is also the recipient of the Percussive Arts Society President’s Industry Award and holds a masters degree in English from State University of New York at Buffalo.
