On behalf of the NAMM Executive Committee, Board and staff, we would like to sincerely thank you for your participation in the Global Summit VI of the Music Products Industry.
During this important time of industry transformation, Summit VI proved to be a vital platform for the exchange of ideas between leaders in our industry. The change in format encouraged everyone to contribute and allowed
for much more individual interaction. We went on a journey of what the world might look like far into the future and then through a series of targeted speakers, panels and workshops, we brought it all back to how we can improve our businesses to face the challenges of today and grow the market for tomorrow. A special thanks to
Betty Heywood and Ken Wilson for their particular attention to detail in setting the new program agenda. We would also like to thank the workshop facilitators and the summary presenters.
We hope you left with ideas that will prove beneficial to your business as well as with a renewed sense of passion. The talented and creative people who made up the delegate list are what make this industry so unique. The camaraderie and friendships that were made or strengthened last week are likely to last a lifetime.
We will post the transcript of the conference, video of a few of the presenting speakers (some of the speaker contracts would not allow for video posting), photos and summaries of the workshops on the NAMM website shortly. A follow up email will be sent when this is ready. There will also be a written document that will be circulated later this fall with some of the highlights and important take-aways from the Summit.
NAMM is grateful for the opportunity to host these gatherings and facilitate the dialog between members of the international music community. We all have a deep passion for this industry and by working together we will face the challenges of today while building a more prosperous future.
