Nashville Meeting Follow up
I would like to thank everyone who participated in last weeks meetings. Although attendance was understandably light, it was still a successful meeting. We did not have dedicated note-taker but it is my hope to go through the audio recording and pick out some of the highlights to post for those who were not there.
Until I do that, here are some (but not all) of the things that were discussed:
We spend time trying to reconcile and publish the changes that comprise the 2009.2 version document set. There are still some lingering issues that need to be finalized before we can re-publish.
We had are really excellent conversation about classification codes. Gordon O'Hara will be leading the charge to develop a common coding system that can be referenced from the new item document.
Significant progress was made on a new version of the Item document. I will post the draft document shortly. Please feel free to comment and converse about the new format.
Next phone meetings are scheduled for:
- August 19th, 11 AM Pacific
- September 16th, 11 AM Pacific
It was pointed out that some of the committee did not have the access require to create a new post. This has been rectified, so I hope that everyone will 'create a post' instead of using the list serve.
