Drum Corps International (DCI) is the premier modern drum and bugle corps in the world. The DCI corps are split into three different division levels. Hundreds of kids ranging from ages 14 to 21 spend the summer rehearsing and performing an 11-minute show in which they play a variety of horns or percussion instruments, or spin flags, rifles, sabres, and other implements—all while marching around a football field! The three-month DCI season is comprised of over 120 local and regional competitions held in communities across the United States. These competitions collectively reach well over 100,000 loyal DCI fans during the season.
