Weekend Warriors

Weekend Warriors puts non-active musicians back on stage to relive their fantasies of superstardom, just for the fun of it. This program provides ongoing activities that create new long-term customer relationships with adults who have more time and disposable income to spend on their recreational interests.

About Weekend Warriors

Weekend Warriors is a grassroots market-building program designed to get non-active musicians back into making music. The program provides an ongoing activity that creates new long-term customers, rather than a one-time event to boost sales among existing customers. Weekend Warriors targets adults who for one reason or another have stopped playing music and now have significantly more disposable income to spend on their recreational interests. By re-connecting these consumers with music products and the social interaction and fun of being in a rock band again, music products retailers can create loyal customers and steady revenue streams for years to come.

Success with the Weekend Warriors program is more a matter of commitment than it is a matter of money. There are three main ingredients to a successful program:

  1. A rehearsal space for Warriors bands to practice
  2. A musical “coach” to help the Warriors bands succeed and have fun
  3. Creative promotion of the Warriors program in your store to attract these new customers

The only cost to dealers is an annual licensing fee of $200 for NAMM members ($300 for non-members). The licensing agreement allows dealers to use the nationally promoted Weekend Warriors name, as well as the support resources
