Keith Mardak Receives the NAMM Oral History Service Award

During the NAMM Show, Joe Lamond and Dan Del Fiorentino presented the NAMM Oral History Service Award to Keith Mardak for his role in building the Oral History Program. Over the years, Keith has played a vital role in the addition of music publishers, composers and method book authors to the video collection.
In addition to providing ideas, he contacted many candidates to suggest they participate in the program. He spent many hours providing history on music publishers to the NAMM Resource Center staff, which has been vital to the inclusion of these pioneers and innovators in our collection.
Take a look back at just three of the numerous important interviews Keith has arranged for us over the years:
Zeb Billings
Art Jenson
Dave Brubeck
Partnerships like these help us to continue developing our program and sharing our industry's history with people all over the world. We continue to appreciate efforts like these!
