Myrna Sislen was an internationally known classical guitarist and tap dancer when she bought Middle C Music in March of 2002 to keep the store from closing.
Since that time Middle C Music has become the only full service music store in Washington, DC. The store is a neighborhood meeting place with more than 300 students, a healthy instrument rental program, ample print dept., and busy retail instrument dept.
Middle C Music has been featured in The Washington Post, The Northwest Current, Fox News TV, CBS radio, Music Inc. Magazine, MMR Magazine, and Music Trades Magazine.
