Fox News Covers FORTUNE Battle of the Corporate Bands with Health Benefits Angle

Fox News' award-winning health journalist Laurie Tarkan wrote a feature article on the benefits of making music as a stress reliever in the workplace. Her article, "Relieving Stress By Turning the Boardroom into a Bandroom" featured the FORTUNE Battle of the Corporate Bands competition, giving a glimpse at what some of America's largest corporations do to blow off some steam. She wrote, "When a company has a house band, it signals to employees that it’s a fun, cool place to work – and it is a morale booster. Company bands bring people from all different divisions and title levels within an organization together." NAMM is a sponsor of the annual music competition for amateur company-sponsored bands, held at Cleveland's Rock Hall.
