Boys & Girls Clubs of America

NAMM and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have formed an alliance to bring after-school music programs to clubs nationwide. Designed to serve children ages 5 to 12, the "Music Makers" program uses games to teach kids about music and promote social and emotional growth after school. Program participants use guitars, drums and hand percussion to learn about music making in a fun, relaxed environment.

With more than 3,700 clubs nationwide, the program has the potential to reach 4.5 million children who attend Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation. BGCA clubs will be encouraged to partner with their local NAMM Member music retailer for expert advice, sales and ongoing service.
