NAMM Show Admission Policy
BY REGISTERING YOU AGREE TO THE GUIDELINES BELOW. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THESE GUIDELINES MUST BE FOLLOWED IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN REGISTRATION TO AND ATTENDANCE AT THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MUSIC MERCHANTS TRADE SHOW (THE "NAMM SHOW").
Registration and Badges
Admission to the NAMM Show is primarily limited to members of the music products industry. Admission is intended to provide a professional and educational opportunity for members of the industry, and to promote the music industry’s products and services. Registrants may be asked to provide proof of their affiliation with the music products industry. A unique email address must be provided for each and every individual registrant. All registrations are subject to review and approval by NAMM Show management. Once approved, confirmation of registration and badge status will be sent to registrants via email.
- Registrants must bring a copy of their confirmation email to any of the multiple badge pickup locations to print their badge. No badges will be mailed to attendees prior to the NAMM Show.
- A badge and photo id are required for entry into the NAMM Show. Badges must be worn in plain view at all times while on show site.
- Badges are the property of NAMM. Any person duplicating, altering, transferring, or otherwise fraudulently using a badge will be subject to criminal and civil prosecution, including but not limited to copyright and trademark infringement, trespassing, forgery, and/or counterfeiting.
- Registration, badges, and/or access to the NAMM Show may be revoked by NAMM at any time.
Badge Colors/Categories:
YELLOW = Visitor
RED = Exhibitor, Manufacturer Rep and Demonstrator
BLUE = Buyer, Retail Employee and Distributor
BLACK = Artist
GREEN = Associate, Exhibitor Employee, Non-Exhibitor, or Educator
Non-exhibiting manufacturer badges are for the sole purpose of viewing the NAMM Show for future exhibiting opportunities, and shall be limited to four badges per company.
Children Under 18
The following rules are applicable to all children under the age of 18:
- Attendees with YELLOW visitor badges may NOT bring children to the NAMM Show.
- NAMM Members and their employees may bring children to the NAMM Show, provided that each child is accompanied and supervised at all times by a guardian who is over 18 and who has a RED, BLUE, BLACK, or GREEN badge.
- A Child Release Form and a guardian’s mobile phone number must be provided to NAMM for any child attending the NAMM Show.
- To be admitted to the NAMM Show floor, each child must have a child badge registration.
- Children’s badges may be picked up in Room 201 of the Anaheim Convention Center.
- Child badges count toward the NAMM Member Company’s badge allotment.
- Children are only allowed access to NAMM Show exhibits during show hours only. Children are not permitted on the trade show floor during setup or teardown.
Press Photo Consent
NAMM is permitted to use the name, likeness, or biographical information supplied by the attendee and attendee grants permission for photos taken at NAMM events to be used in any NAMM publication, multimedia publication, display, advertising or Web publication.
General
All attendees of the NAMM Show agree to comply with all rules and conditions published by NAMM, including all rules herein, all future correspondence, and as may be posted at the NAMM Show. Badges are required for admission to all events. Badges are closely monitored to prevent unauthorized persons from participating in the NAMM Show. NAMM Show registration may not be used for advertising, promotions, giveaways, sweepstakes, or other trade purposes without with express written consent of NAMM. There are no refunds for badges granted. Distribution of promotional material or business cards or selling of product of any type is not allowed. NAMM Show attendees must behave responsibly at all NAMM Show events. Threatening physical actions, disorderly or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the NAMM Show, denial of access to NAMM Show facilities and other penalties. Attendees may be removed from the NAMM Show premises and the convention center at any time. NAMM Show attendees voluntarily assume all risk and danger of personal injury (including death) and all hazards arising from, or related in any way to, the NAMM Show, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the NAMM Show, however caused and whether by negligence or otherwise. Rules and conditions are subject to change without notice.
