NAMM Show Guidelines and On-Site Agreement for Non-Exhibiting Manufacturers

NAMM works to insure success for all exhibitors and attendees. We welcome your visit and want the show to be a valuable experience for you and your company.

Non-exhibiting manufacturer badges are for the sole purpose of viewing the NAMM Show for future exhibiting opportunities. To guarantee that the high level of integrity of the show is maintained for everyone, we require that you abide by these guidelines for your activities while visiting the NAMM Show.

  • The definition of "suitcasing" is any action on your part that falls under these guidelines. By accepting your badge, you agree not to "suitcase" while at the show.
    • I will not approach buyers or other exhibitors at the NAMM Show, on the grounds of either convention center or in any hotel or venue in Anaheim for the purpose of offering to sell, demonstrate or show products or services.
    • I do not have in my possession product samples, catalogs, flyers, brochures, product drawings, photos, videos, computer presentations or any other representation of items or services for sale, for the purpose of displaying, showing or selling to a show buyer or exhibitor.
    • Showrooms, hospitality suites, special presentations or sponsorship of any activity is not allowed by non-exhibiting manufacturers or service providers anywhere in Anaheim during the NAMM Show.
  • I understand that I am found actively violating this policy, I will be removed from the NAMM Show and prohibited from attending the show (except as an exhibitor) for remaining days of the 2011 NAMM and potentially future NAMM Shows.
  • I agree to wear my badge in plain view at all times. I understand that name badges are the property of NAMM and agree to surrender my badge upon request by show management or show security. I am aware that show management has the right to reject my registration or withhold badges at its sole discretion.

By picking up my NAMM Show badge, I agree to abide by NAMM’s guidelines and policies.
