The 2007 Vans Warped Tour
Know retailers who want to connect with teens and young adults in their area? Why not encourage them to join forces with NAMM in reaching this burgeoning market at the nation’s longest-running concert festival: the Vans Warped Tour. The concert travels to nearly 50 markets and features an eclectic bill of punk, alternative, hip-hop and ska bands.
The association’s sponsorship of the tour provides NAMM Members with a free marketing opportunity to promote their stores at the local tour stop so they can tap into the spending power of thousands of teens and their parents. The tour dates and locations will be released in April. Check www.namm.org for updates.

John Lennon Songwriting Contest Battle of the High School Bands
The JLSC Battle of the Bands offers a series of basic opt-ins for NAMM retailers to take advantage of publicity and customer participation opportunities to increase store traffic and strengthen ties in their local markets. Retailers who opt-in can increase their store traffic and sales, and generate buzz in their communities by offering the bus for site visits and event marketing.
