106th NAMM Show Opens in Anaheim

Today, musical instrument and product manufacturers from around the world will fill the Anaheim Convention Center with exhibits, including debuts of the latest innovations not yet released in the market, as the 106th NAMM Show gets under way. NAMM, the trade association of the international music products industry, operates the industry’s largest annual trade-only event in the world, and this year’s group of 1,559 exhibiting companies sets an all-time record for the four-day gathering.

Thousands of music products professionals will attend to see the latest in musical instruments and audio and computer technology, participate in industry-specific professional development courses and enjoy ongoing peer-to-peer networking opportunities.

NAMM Announces 2008 NAMM Show Professional Development Sessions Schedule

NAMM, the trade association of the international music products industry, today announced its NAMM University schedule of events offered free to Members attending the NAMM Show, held Jan. 17–20, 2008, in Anaheim.

The educational sessions are packed with great information and ideas that attendees can put to use in their businesses right away. Taught by industry experts who know the challenges and opportunities of today’s marketplace, NAMM University sessions cover a wide variety of topics, including:

 

105th NAMM Show Closes with Record-Breaking Finish

NAMM, the trade association of the international music products industry, today announced final registration and exhibitor numbers for the 2007 NAMM Show. At show close, NAMM reported a 4 percent increase in overall registration for a grand total of 84,695 registrants.

The association previously announced breaking the all-time record of exhibitors with 1,535 companies displaying products at this year's NAMM Show. International attendance showed an 8 percent increase for a total of 9,889 registrants from more than 100 countries.

105th NAMM Show Opens in Anaheim

Today, a record-breaking 1,535 music products manufacturers from around the world will fill every square inch of the Anaheim Convention Center with the latest innovations in musical instruments at the 105th NAMM Show, the industry’s largest annual event in the United States.

The NAMM Show, which opened today in Anaheim and runs through the weekend, is open only to the trade and draws thousands of music products retailers and manufacturers eager to check out the products, attend valuable professional development sessions and network with industry peers.

NAMM Show to Feature U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Booth

NAMM, the trade association of the international music products industry, announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office will be staffing a booth at this year’s NAMM Show in order to educate exhibitors and attendees about intellectual property (IP) rights and the realities of IP protection in America and abroad.

NAMM Announces 2007 NAMM Show Professional Development Sessions Schedule

NAMM, the trade association of the international music products industry, today announced its schedule of NAMM University professional development sessions offered free to Members attending The 2007 NAMM Show, held Jan. 18, 2006 to Jan. 22, 2006, in Anaheim, Calif.

Included in the educational events are more of NAMM University’s Breakfast Sessions held each morning of the show, where top insiders discuss the opportunities and challenges currently facing the industry. The sessions will take place at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel at 8 a.m. Thursday through Sunday.

NAMM Show To Remain In Anaheim Through 2013

NAMM, the trade association of the international music products industry, today announced a new three-year deal with the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Convention Center to continue to host “the NAMM Show,” the association’s 108-year-old trade show for the musical instruments and products industry, through 2013.

Music Educators and NAMM Show 2010

I was at NAMM headquarters in southern California for a few days in late September. It is always great to be with the home team, touch base with west coast public affairs buddies and to get up to date with all the plans for the NAMM Show that will take place January 14 – 17, 2010 in Anaheim, CA.
