Toronto-native Noah Shebib, better known as 40, has already made a massive impression on the world of Hip Hop in his young career. 40 exploded onto the scene in 2009 making mix tapes with a (previously) underground rapper known as Drake. His collaboration with Drake continued on both the rappers’ full-length debut Thank Me Later as well as the follow-up, 2011’s Take Care – with both albums debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200. Chart success aside, it’s his bravely individual production style, which is at times both lush and minimalistic, that has made 40 one of the most unique and exciting new talents the world of Hip Hop.
