With a mother in the music business, Chyla grew up running around studios and stages all over the world. "I used to play hide-n-seek at the legendary Roxy while my mom was working on stage," she recalls. As she got older, Chyla had the pleasure of working with artists such as P!nk, Alicia Keys, and Barbra Streisand. Her voice can also been heard on various TV/Film projects including Hairspray and Gossip Girl. Now she is sharing her very own sound with her mellow, feel-good, California acoustic soul music. Los Cabos Drumsticks are pleased to announce new artist Randy Black and long-time endorser Elie Bertrand will both be on-hand at the company’s booth on Saturday for an artist signing and to meet fans and friends alike.
Elie is one of Canada's great up and coming musicians who has turned more than a few heads over the past few years with her ferocious skill behind the kit. She has performed at both the Cape Breton International Drum Festival and the Montreal Drum Fest and currently makes a living performing in her hometown of Montreal.
Randy is a Canadian born musician living in Berlin where he makes his living as a working musician and teacher. He is known the world over for his unique, ambidextrous playing style and has pushed the boundaries of metal drumming to new levels. He has worked with several know artists including Bif Naked, Annihilator and Primal Fear.
