Third Annual NAMM-USPTO IP Academy

NAMM Members have the opportunity to participate in a free, two-day Intellectual Property (IP) Academy April 8 & 9, 2015, at the Global Intellectual Property Academy (GIPA) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Alexandria, Virginia.  The program is designed by GIPA Acting Director Susan Anthony  to help attendees identify and protect IP, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights, domestically and abroad.

Susan Anthony has 30 years of experience in intellectual property protection and enforcement in the U.S. and abroad, and speakers will include intellectual property experts from the Office of Policy and International Affairs (OPIA), U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as guest speakers from the private sector.

Due to requests from NAMM Members, a second day has been added to the 2015 NAMM-USPTO IP Academy.

NAMM Members will have the unparalleled opportunity to shape the program agenda to meet their needs and will be asked to send in their questions and concerns about IP to clairek@namm.org.  Academy attorneys will answer these questions at the event and also will use them in developing additional materials to assist NAMM Members in protecting their IP.
