Jesse James Felice
For over a decade and a half, Jesse James has devoted himself to curating the perfect vibe, DJing at clubs, concerts, conventions, burlesque shows, and zombie walks. His recent performances include Heat Ultra Lounge, The House of Blues, Amoeba Records, and The Historic IVAR Theater.
Prior to pursuing a career in music licensing, Jesse served as music manager and tour assistant to Perfecto Records label owner and 3x Grammy nominated DJ Paul Oakenfold. He negotiated Mobile Beat Las Vegas for Oakenfold’s world tour, provided logistical and equipment support for his Mt. Everest performance, collaborated with Armada Music and Black Hole Recordings, and served as brand ambassador and alumnus of Oakenfold’s Electronic Music Academy and DJ Camp.
While working for the label, Jesse graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Los Angeles Recording School with a degree in Music Production. His Metal Gear Solid short story and audiobook "Syndicate Wars" were published in These Pages Speak and subsequently implemented into the Los Angeles Film and Recording School’s creative writing curriculum.
Preceding his move to Los Angeles, Jesse hosted “The Essential Mix” on WRIR-LP 97.3 FM Richmond, and produced and performed the annual TRON: LIVE concert series in Virginia Beach. The series featured Batman Director and D.C.’s Injustice: Gods Among Us Actor Richard Epcar, and Disney Director and Ghost in the Shell Actress Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. Through his craft, Jesse has also helped to raise more than $50,000 for the American Cancer Society, The Make a Wish Foundation, and Safe Harbor - a domestic abuse and trauma organization.
In 2019, Jesse James will kick off his new Music Camp series, a new tour concept implementing a three-tiered platform: music licensing, live performance, and industry education and mentorship.
