Pauline France is the Global Employee Communications Manager at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, spearheading the iconic brand’s internal communications department worldwide.
She is also a classically trained guitarist and contributing writer for Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, Guitar World, and Guitar Player magazines.
France previously worked at Fender in global corporate public relations, where she managed interviews with A-level media, and international events with global press for brands including Fender, Gretsch, EVH, Jackson, Guild, Takamine, and more.
Born in Southern California and raised in the United States and Mexico, France fashioned her bi-cultural heritage and bilingual upbringing into a top-notch education in both music and communications. Musically, she studied classical guitar at the Centro Hispanoamericano de Guitarra in the Conservatory of Baja California, Mexico, and in the communications arena, earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from San Diego State University.
She is the recipient of a 2010 National Association of Music Merchant’s President’s Innovation Award for exemplary work in pursuing a music career, and in 2013 received a She Rocks Next Generation Award from the Women’s International Music Network for being a woman in the music industry “who works tirelessly to do the right thing.”
