Scott Blair has nearly 30 years in the professional lighting and video industries, first working on theatrical and concert productions, then moving into product R&D. Currently, he's the vice president of product and project management for Megapixel VR. Previously, Scott spent more than 18 years in various R&D roles at High End Systems and VER. He has worked on a variety of projects in his career, ranging from parkwide lighting control systems design for Walt Disney Imagineering to the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the Oscars. While at High End, Scott developed a protocol that was to be the genesis of the Remote Device Management (RDM) protocol, which he led development on in ESTA into a public standard. Scott has been an active contributor in numerous ESTA Control Protocols projects, including sACN and DMX512, and he currently co-chairs the development effort of RDMnet.
