Make Music Winter, a free, outdoor music-making celebration featuring 12 participatory musical parades across New York City on the winter solstice, returns this year on Thursday, Dec. 21. The NAMM Show has been recognized with the coveted “Greatest Trade Show of 2016” and “Do-Gooder” awards at the Gold 100 Awards and Summit, presented by Trade Show Executive magazine. The annual awards serve to recognize excellence in the trade show industry around the world and were presented on September 28 at a gala reception held in Half Moon Bay, California before an audience of trade show industry professionals.

The sixth annual  Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia was held at Moscow’s Sokolniki Center (September 14 to 16) and ran concurrently with NAMM Musikmesse Russia. The two shows welcomed a 13% increase in professional visitors to the annual trade fairs.

NAMM Musikmesse Russia (September 14 – 17), the international musical exhibition, successfully concluded last week, welcoming over 12,000 music industry professionals and music lovers to the show’s thematic pavilions. Now in its sixth year, the show attracted Russian and international manufacturers and distributors of musical equipment and accessories, a wealth of thematic programming and events, as well as over 12,000 visitors to Moscow’s Sokolniki Center.
