Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia and NAMM Musikmesse Russia 2021 Returns to Moscow
In mid-September, Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia 2021 and NAMM Musikmesse Russia 2021 returned to Moscow. Now in its ninth year, over 127 companies from four countries and nine Russian regions took part in the fairs, which welcomed 10,337 visitors over the course of three days, September 16-18.
Famous Russian and foreign manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and show-technologies gathered in IEC «Expocentre» which included A&T Trade; Anzhee; Asia Music; AV-Center; AV Stumpfl; Bose; Coda Audio; Columbus McKinnon; Contactica; CTC Capital; DIGIS Group; Dealercenter; DOKA Center; Dr.Head; Equivalent.pro; Gerriets GmbH; Hi-Tech Media; Image Show; IMLIGHT; IBERI; LPD Technology; MD Technology; Oktava; OKNO-AUDIO; ProTone; Proton-Center; Riedel Communications; Sonoruss; Sistema; Theatre Technical Corporation; KIOR Theatre Systems; and others. Prolight + Sound NAMM Russian offered attendees informative business programming and education. At the show’s Theater Forum, representatives of 44 theaters from across Russia took part. The general sponsor of the Forum was Epson.
In addition to the show’s Theater Forum and technical tours, the program included the following new events:
- «Monitor world» Offline with Alexey Belyy: Two days of tech experiences and education affecting the entire spectrum of professional sound equipment and technologies with real cases.
- The Streaming Solutions Conference, which offered insight into online broadcasts and covered technologies from streaming to television.
- A talk with David Misakyan: This included discussions and meetings with lighting designers from different areas of show industry.
In addition to the sessions, an exclusive business breakfast, "Sport Facility: Light. Sound. Multimedia," was organized for the participants of Prolight + Sound NAMM 2021 and Interlight Russia | Intelligent Building Russia 2021. Exhibitors met with specialists responsible for equipping state, municipal, and commercial sports facilities.
In addition to the special sessions, the Prolight + Sound NAMM 2021 exposition area included a dedicated outdoor space for concert sound demonstrations.
Parallel to Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia, NAMM Musikmesse Russia 2021 was held in IEC «Expocentre». The fair was presented in three key areas: exposition, show, and education.
The NAMM Musikmesse Russia 2021 exposition included such brands as Blastbeat Drum Shop, Dynatone, Lutner, MPC Distribution, Shamray Guitars, Shnoor, and others. The Ministry of Industry and Trade supported a collective exposition with music instruments and equipment of Russian manufacturers.
Muzzlab 3.0, the traditional three-day conference, welcomed participants with lectures and masterclasses on music management and sound engineering.
Each day of the fair, musicians performed on a live music stage. On the first day, the «Ethnosphere» project, led by pianist Sergei Filatov and country-folk singer Irina Surina, opened the live program. On September 17, the D'Addario Guitar Festival was held. Drummers United 2021, the annual drumming competition, gathered drummers of all abilities on September 18.
