It’s been absolutely mind-blowing. It’s my very first NAMM Show. I was kind of thrown into a fire, working for Connelly as an exhibitor. When I did get to explore the floor, it was just a revelation. It was everything that I was hoping and dreaming to be a part of.
As a result of several important strategic alliances, NAMM has added hundreds of new educational sessions. NAMM U will host relevant, high-value education for our retail members, with audio production and entertainment technology education being offered, in cooperation with AES and ESTA. Music educators, business majors and education policy leaders will also have special learning opportunities, ensuring a stable future for the music industry.
[Learning] is the biggest thing that I use this time to do. The breakfast seminars are fantastic because you hear innovators who have done something really new in the industry and where they took it…I built my entire business just based on these seminars. They taught me so much.
While the performing lineup for The NAMM Show 2018 is still in development, be assured that there will be many opportunities to hear from the best-in-the-business, up-and-comers and even a few celebrities. From the TEC Awards to The Parnelli Awards, as well as many planned headliners to impromptu performances, there won’t be a shortage of entertainment and inspiration.
The NAMM Show and Summer NAMM have been recognized as one of “The Top 100 Largest Shows” in the USA. It’s no wonder we are making headlines among some of the world’s top publications. There is no better place to get publicity and generate buzz in the music industry than The NAMM show.
