Honoring Retail Excellence, Submissions for NAMM's Top 100 Dealers to Open March 1
NAMM welcomes its global retail members to be recognized for retail excellence as part of the organization’s annual Top 100 Dealer Awards. Now in its eight year and held during the Summer NAMM Show (June 25-28) in Nashville, the annual awards honor retailers who have demonstrated a commitment to best-practices, creativity and innovation in music products retail.
“One of the most inspiring aspects of Summer NAMM to me personally is the opportunity to celebrate the successes of our retail members at the Top 100 Awards,” affirmed Joe Lamond, NAMM President and CEO. “Perhaps now more than ever, making the investment in yourself to learn and emulate the best and the brightest in the industry sure seems like a worthwhile bet, and one that will lead to future success.”
The submissions process will open on Thursday, March 1st (8:00a.m. PST) and is open to current NAMM retail members. Members interested in applying can begin the process by visiting https://www.namm.org/summer/2018/top-dealer-awards.
Each submission will be evaluated for effectiveness in marketing, customer engagement and innovation in retail by a panel of independent judges. The panel will also make a selection for several “Best of” category winners, including “Best Store Turnaround;” “Best Customer Service;” “Best Store Design;” “Best Marketing and Sales Promotion;” “Best Online Engagement;” “Best Emerging Dealer/Rookie Of The Year;” the “Music Makes a Difference;” award and the coveted, “Dealer of the Year” award. By entering, retailers are automatically considered for the “Best Of” categories as well as for “Dealer of the Year.”
The submission period will close on Monday, March 19 at 5:00p.m. PDT.
The list of Top 100 Dealer nominees will be announced in the spring, with the “Best of” and “Dealer of the Year” awards to be announced during the Top 100 Dealer Awards gala on Friday, June 29 at the Summer NAMM Show.
The 2018 Summer NAMM Show returns to Nashville’s Music City Center June 28-30, and will bring together thousands of buyers, exhibitors and music industry professionals to preview the latest music products, gain valuable insights through a robust professional development program and network with peers.
