Franklin School of Rock - "Deliberate Mishap"
For more than a decade, School of Rock has been inspiring kids to rock on stage and in life. Founded as a single school in Philadelphia, PA in 1998, School of Rock has become a growing international franchise, operating over 150 schools in the US, Mexico and abroad.
Deliberate Mishap is our local Franklin School of Rock house band consisting of students ranging in age from 11 to 18 years of age. This is an auditioned group that performs on a regular basis around town and at special events. To date, Deliberate Mishap has performed in front of audiences at festivals such as GuitarFest and SummerFest, as well as to crowds of thousands at the Nashville Predators NHL games at the Bridgestone Arena. Last year, this band won the national School of Rock battle of the bands known as GEMBA at Summerfest in Milawaukee, WI and most recently returned from performances aboard the Norwegian Pearl's "Sail Across the Sun" cruise hosted by the band TRAIN. The band put on three performances and were joined on stage by Pat Monahan and Hector Maldonado of TRAIN to cover Led Zeppelin songs and they rocked the house! To date, the members of Deliberate Mishap have been joined on stage by Oscar Rodriguez of A Great Big World, John Driskell Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band, Reggie Wooten, Striking Matches, and more as well as having been visited by John Wetton, Tyler Bryant and The Shakedown, and Moon Taxi, among many others. These kids are ready to ROCK and will not disappoint!
