The inspiration truly begins at Summer NAMM with a variety of unique, fun and business-building events happening in and around Music City Center, Nashville from June 28-30. ‘Georgia on My Mind’ Concert

On Tuesday, June 26, right before Summer NAMM opens, Gretsch will be hosting the 4th Annual “Georgia on My Mind” concert at the famous Ryman theater in Nashville. Over the last four years, this annual concert has raised nearly $300,000 to the Georgia Music Foundation to support music education, preservation and outreach grants. Past performers have included Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Chris Janson, Randy Houser and many more and is hosted by the Peach Pickers.

Pro Audio Reception

The new Pro Audio Showcase Lounge will be a place for pro audio professionals to gather at Summer NAMM for TEC Tracks Meetups, networking and events. On Thursday, June 28 at 4:30, there will be a special TEC Awards reception where the 2019 TEC nominees will be unveiled for the first time!

NAMM Opening Night Party featuring the 35th Annual American Eagle Awards

Come join us on Thursday night of the show for the annual Summer NAMM kick-off party. From 5:30-6:30 pm enjoy free appetizers, drinks and the opportunity to connect with peers and vendors.

Top 100 Dealer Awards

Cheer on your peers at NAMM’s annual Top 100 Dealer Awards, also dubbed the “Retail Oscars” by Music Inc. magazine. On Friday evening, June 29, retailers from across the globe will compete across eight categories and the coveted Dealer of the Year title. Radio personality Kelly Ford will be hosting this special night full of food, live entertainment and an abundance of helpful advice from the industry’s most successful retailers. Make Music Experience

On Saturday June 30, Summer NAMM will host the “Make Music Experience,” an all-day all-access pass for the prosumer audience to trial the latest music and pro audio gear from top manufacturers across the globe. Enjoy career-enhancing educational sessions, demo products and enjoy fun, interactive events and performances.

Session highlights include songwriting, recording, marketing and PR, licensing, live sound, house of worship and software development. This day is free for NAMM members. For prosumers, it’s $10 in advance and $20 at the door. Learn more.

Pensado’s Pro Audio Party

Pensado’s Place, the hour-long weekly web series co-hosted by legendary mix engineer Dave Pensado and show creator Herb Trawick, will join the Make Music Experience (MME) at Summer NAMM on Saturday, June 30.

The popular web show will broadcast live from Summer NAMM and will feature audio and recording luminaries as they discuss techniques, products and projects in an hour-long live interview session. Attendees will be able to participate in the session as well as hang with Herb and Dave in a special mentoring session which starts at 1pm inside Music City Center.

Ukulele and Guitar Circles

Join your community on Saturday, June 30 with two opportunities to brush up on your musical skills. Brought to you by NAMM in collaboration with The Guitar & Accessories Marketing Association (GAMA), the Summer NAMM guitar circle is a free hour-long group lesson where you’ll learn basic guitar techniques as well as a few songs.

Then join Hawaiian legend, “Ukulenny” as he teaches a free group lesson on Ukulele where you’ll learn the basics and add some new tunes to your repertoire. No experience required. Brought to you by NAMM in collaboration with Kala Brand Music.

Vintage King Beer and Gear Hang

After the show closes on Saturday, come join the after party at the 4th annual “Beer and Gear Hang” at Vintage King. Crack open a cold one and enjoy some amazing gear on display, as well as a chance to network with your peers and build relationships.
