New at the Top 100 Dealer Awards
A longtime highlight of Summer NAMM, the Top 100 Dealer Awards honors the best of the best in music retail and the Dealer of the Year. This July, the event returns to Music City and features three new award categories: Best Community Retail Store, Innovation Award and the Top 100 Customers' Choice Award.
Top 100 Customers' Choice Award
For the seven other categories, an independent panel of judges reviews hundreds of submissions to determine the nominees and victors. This year we have added an eighth award, Customers' Choice, which is voted on by our members' consumer base. This opportunity engages our retail members' audiences, highlighting our dealers’ social media and community reach. Each user has the chance to select their favorite retail store and recognize their excellence. So, be sure to add your vote, when Customers' Choice voting opens, after the Top 100 is announced!
We’re living in a time of rapid change and disruption. The Innovation Award highlights a retail member’s commitment to excellence in innovation and ability to evolve with the times.
Best Community Retail Store
This category celebrates our industry’s mom and pop stores; single location stores that have made their mark on their local community. With a highlight on company culture, this honors a vital part of our retail sphere.
"As unique as the customers and locations they serve, the Top 100 honorees all have a bit in common: a commitment to excellence in music product retailing, customer service, and in acting as music champions within their communities,” shared Joe Lamond, NAMM president and CEO. “We applaud their efforts, and those of all NAMM retail members that are creating positive and memorable shopping experiences which, in turn, help to foster the next generation of music makers.”
Be sure to check back to place your vote for this year’s Top 100 Customers' Choice, and make plans to attend Summer NAMM, July 18–20.
