Deer Park Avenue
Deer Park Avenue is a rock duo of sisters Sarah and Stephanie Snyder.
They are the winners of the Hard Rock Rising Battle of the Bands in Washington D.C. They are voting members of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) in the Washington, D.C. Chapter. What will make Deer Park Avenue's performance memorable for the NAMM audience is their strong musicality, non-stop energy, and a tightly-knit sound—playing for the song and the groove. They are not only strong musicians, they are a strong band who truly play together—their love of music and performing is unparalleled by most of today's young bands. They have played on stages at the Audix Mics and Gibson booths in the US (NAMM) and Germany (Musikmesse).
Deer Park Avenue formed in Sacramento, pulling their name from the street where they grew up on Long Island, NY. They released their debut EP, City Streets, which instantly gained an enthusiastic local audience. Gigging locally in support of the EP, Deer Park Avenue built a grassroots fan base that has since grown into thousands of Twitter followers, Facebook likes, and YouTube views from all around the world.
Their new self-titled release is set for November 2015, a collection of high-octane rock songs that they live-tracked, without the safety net of autotune, to capture the energy that is a major part of their performance—a driving and melodic debut album, with the retro punk edge that has come to define their sound. They co-produced the album with renowned producer and bassist Matt Bissonette, who is currently touring with Elton John and has worked with legendary musicians Brian Wilson, Don Henley, Ringo Starr, Rick Springfield, and many others. Their track “Countdown” also features GRAMMY Award-winning drummer Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Santana, Ringo Starr), playing double drums with Stephanie.
Deer Park Avenue have toured on both coasts of the US as well as in Switzerland, France, and Germany. They’re known for their enthusiastic live shows and love for the road, playing up and down the California coast at such high-profile venues as the Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe in San Francisco, and along the east coast at Hard Rock Cafe Washington, D.C., and many other venues in Virginia, Maryland, and New York.
They are endorsed by Audix Microphones, Epiphone, Kickport, TRX Cymbals, PDP Drums, Reference Cables, OnBoard Research, and Sonas Denim.
