JodyJazz Adds POWER RING Ligature Soprano and Baritone models

JodyJazz Inc.

JodyJazz Inc continues to expand the selection of its successful new POWER RING™ Ligature range with the introduction of the Soprano (MS1) and Baritone (MB1) models for DV series mouthpieces. The POWER RING™ Ligatures have been much in demand since the launch of the first models last year. With these new additions, the company now offers a full complement of POWER RING™ Ligature models to fit every JodyJazz mouthpiece in the range.

The POWER RING MS1 model is designed for the DV Soprano mouthpiece and the POWER RING MB1 is designed for the DV and the DV NY Baritone. The POWER RING MB1 also fits the DV Bass mouthpiece.

The New POWER RING Ligatures have greater thickness and heft and feature a concave inner design which reduces the touch points on the reed thereby maximizing reed vibration. Furthermore there are no moving or added parts, further increasing the efficiency of vibration. The design of the new POWER RING Ligatures allow the most freedom and vibration of the reed of any Ligatures current on the market. The amount of harmonics present are increased, allowing the fullest saxophone sound containing high, mid and low frequencies. The POWER RING simply slides over the reed and becomes very secure as it is pushed tightly over the reed.

The new POWER RING™ Ligatures are individually CNC machined from virgin brass at the JodyJazz factory in Savannah, GA. Their standard finish is 24kt Gold with select models also available in Silver. Each JodyJazz POWER RING™ Ligature comes with a deluxe pouch and all models have an MSRP of $59.95.

The company also announced that they have compiled a list of other mouthpieces that the various POWER RING™ models will fit. For example the POWER RING 'HRA1 Minus' perfectly fits many of the most commonly available Classical and Jazz hard rubber and polycarbonate mouthpieces on the market. A comprehensive guide providing full information on which POWER RING Ligature model will fit your mouthpiece is available at JodyJazz.com
