Tips on Maintaining Your NAMM Show Booth’s Volume

As we approach The 2019 NAMM Show, it is important to consider your booth’s volume on the show floor. There are a variety of strategies and product offerings to help your demos comply with the show sound and demo policy.

Try to limit your product demos to under two minutes and keep your SPLs appropriately low. The 2019 NAMM Show has a strict 85 dB limit for all exhibitors. When possible, utilize headphones and drum shields. Additionally, place signs in your booth reminding attendees of maximum demo lengths and decibel levels.

The layout of your booth can greatly contribute to your overall impact. Plan your exhibit area so demos are positioned in the center of your design and away from the aisle. Point speakers and amplifiers towards the inside of your exhibit space.

We have conveniently located, complimentary demo and WhisperRooms across the The NAMM Show Campus, which will allow your customers to test product in a sound-controlled environment. Demo room sign-ups are now available. Please email us to book your time.
