Is education at The NAMM Show free with my badge?
Most education programs at The NAMM Show are free. You simply need your show badge for entry. Programs that require a fee are marked with a $ on the education schedule.
Does education at The NAMM Show require registration?
Most education programs at The NAMM Show are first come, first served and do not require registration. Only a few education programs require registration, including AES @NAMM, Retail Innovation Summit, Dante training and certain manufacturer-hosted education programs. Consult the education schedule for more information.
Where are the education programs held at The NAMM Show?
Most education programs at The NAMM Show are held in the NAMM U Education Center at the Anaheim Hilton, next door to the front of the Anaheim Convention Center. An exception is the NAMM Idea Center, which is located in the Anaheim Convention Center lobby between halls B and C. The NAMM Member Center, also in the Anaheim Convention Center lobby, hosts select programs, as well.
Where can I view The NAMM Show education schedule?
Before and during the show, you can view the full NAMM Show education schedule on the NAMM website and NAMM app. Once you arrive at The NAMM Show, you can also pick up a printed NAMM events guide at the Anaheim Convention Center and designated Anaheim hotels.
The NAMM Show offers a lot of different education programs. Where do I start?
Good question. Start on the education schedule page, and click on the topic you're interested in at the top of the page. Then, choose the program that best fits what you're looking for. Or, you can click the topic on the left side of the menu to view all the educational sessions that fall under that particular topic. Also, consider scheduling what educational sessions you'd like to attend beforehand to maximize your time at the show.
Where is the NAMM Idea Center?
The NAMM Idea Center is located in the Anaheim Convention Center lobby between halls B and C. All seating is first come, first served.
Where are the NAMM U Breakfast Sessions held?
The NAMM U Breakfast Sessions are held at the NAMM U Education Center in the Anaheim Hilton, Pacific Ballroom, on Level 2.
I want to attend a NAMM U Breakfast Session in the morning, but I've heard the lines are long. Is that true?
Once doors open, the wait to get into the NAMM U Breakfast Sessions is typically no longer than 10 minutes.
Is there free breakfast at NAMM U Breakfast Sessions?
A complimentary breakfast at NAMM U Breakfast Sessions is offered as a service to NAMM members attending the sessions. However, it's first come, first served, and there's a hard stop to the breakfast at 8:30 am. We cannot accommodate breakfast after that or special dietary requests. We recommend getting to the session early.
Where is AES@NAMM held?
The AES @NAMM program is held at the NAMM U Education Center at the Anaheim Hilton on Level 4, rooms C1 - C13, on the south end of the building. You can also register onsite there.
Do I need to register for AES@NAMM?
Yes. You can register for AES@NAMM before the show for a discounted Access Pass, or you can register during The NAMM Show for the standard fee for an Access Pass. Onsite AES registration will be at the NAMM U Education Center at the Anaheim Hilton on Level 4.
