Parnelli and TEC Awards Return to The 2020 NAMM Show
The premier award shows for the live event production and the pro audio industry will again be hosted at The 2020 NAMM Show.
The Parnelli Awards recognize pioneering professionals and their contributions to the live event industry. Founded by Patrick Stansfield and Terry Lowe, publisher of Front of House (FOH) and Projection Lights & Staging News (PLSN), the show has grown to encompass 25 awards, with honors ranging from production managers to pro audio to lighting, rigging and video. The collaboration of the Parnelli Awards at The NAMM Show creates a unique environment where production meets performance.
Presented annually, the NAMM TEC Awards is the highest honor dedicated to the pro audio and sound recording industry, recognizing the individuals, companies and technical innovations behind the sound of recordings, live performances, films, television, video games and multimedia. With 23 technical achievement and eight creative achievement awards, industry peers gather to recognize their sector's most outstanding products and the teams behind them. The TEC Hall of Fame and Les Paul Innovation Award pay tribute to technical pioneers and artistic innovators, respectively, with creative luminaries like Les Paul, Peter Frampton, Quincy Jones, Joe Perry, Pete Townshend and Stevie Wonder celebrated for their musical contributions.
