US to Lift International Travel Bans

We are looking forward to reconnecting our global community at The 2022 NAMM Show. The reinstatement of international travel marks an important step towards making our reunion in June 2022 the best yet.

In November of 2021, United States will be lifting air travel restrictions for foreign citizens who are fully vaccinated, allowing citizens from the UK, EU, and other nations entry into the United States for the first time in over 20 months. Foreign travelers will need to show proof of vaccination status and must present a negative coronavirus test, taken within 72 hours of travel into the United States. At this time, foreign travelers will not be required to quarantine upon arrival into the US.

American citizens who are not vaccinated will also be allowed to enter the US, if they show proof of a negative coronavirus test taken within 72 hours of travel and must get tested after they arrive in the US.

To help with contract tracing efforts, airlines will be instructed to collect phone numbers and email addresses of travelers; travelers will be contacted by authorities after their travel to check on the presence or onset of potential virus-related symptoms.

Currently, the lifting of restrictions applies only to air travel. Restrictions will remain on land borders until further notice.
