
Joshua Taylor

Joshua Taylor is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in San Diego, CA. After self-releasing his debut solo album, About Time, in 2015, he co-founded indie soul band King Taylor Project with his wife, vocalist Sandi King.
Joshua’s 2022 sophomore studio album, Unscene, is produced by award-winning producer, singer-songwriter, and A-list touring player and collaborator Jeff Berkley (Jason Mraz, Jackson Browne, Eve Selis, Bob Weir).
In 2021, Joshua joined Arizona-based rock band Ponderosa Grove, whose members include vocalist and Grammy-nominated songwriter Candace Devine (Christina Aguilera), and world-class drummer Gigi Gonaway (Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, George Benson). Ponderosa Grove has performed in theaters across the country opening for Tedeschi Trucks Band, and has shared festival stages with Dawes and Fantastic Negrito.
Joshua is recognizable on guitar for his tasteful pocket, lush textures, and melodic soloing; vocally for his buttery style and adept arrangements; and as a songwriter for his evocative confessional lyricism and mature harmonic craft. He also works as a singer and sideman with many San Diego notables and award-winning artists and producers.
