Whitney Brown Grisaffi is the proud president of Ted Brown Music a Tacoma, Washington based retail store established by her grandfather. Her dedication and passion for the business are evident in her relationship with her customers, staff and others in the industry. Like her late father, Warren Brown, Whitney is active in the industry associations having served on the board of directors for NAMM and as the second female to hold the post of president of the NASMD board. Her ideas and support have greatly enhanced training programs that are designed to grow the industry with educational programs and events. Her second NAMM interview, recorded in 2021, explores her views and experiences during the pandemic and how under her leadership NASMD created new ways to connect with its members.
