Chris Masterson

Chris Masterson is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and one-half of The Mastersons, a duo comprised of Chris and Eleanor Whitmore. When not touring with The Mastersons, Chris is a longtime member of Steve Earle’s band the Dukes, and whose recent projects include working alongside names like legendary Sunset Sound Recorded Shooter Jennings, Grammy Award-winning engineer Ryan Freeland, and Brandi Carlile. Prior to their concert at NAMM’s Museum of Making Music, Chris and his wife, Eleanor sat down and discussed some of their earliest memories of music, and Chris shared his passion for exploring local music stores as he travels the country touring.
