Fred Theriault

Fred Theriault recalls the first time he step foot in Long & McQuade’s Music Store. He was still a teen and bought a snare drum from Jack McQuade; ironically Fred later was hired and has spent nearly 50 years with the company. Jack Long hired Fred in the store and soon put him in charge of the newly established Yorkville Sound. Fred worked on creating the manufacturing of amplifiers and other products for Yorkville and later played a vital role in the exporting of its products. Fred also worked closely with Jack Long in the vast expansion of the retail stores, from one location to nearly 30 in 2006.
