Popular Music Education and Modern Band

This workshop is centered on the belief that all people are musical. Participants will explore resources and methods for teaching popular music through performances in modern band. The content covered is applicable to all music educators and includes the culturally relevant music of students taught through approximation, music acquisition theory, and social equity.
