As music teachers, we understand the importance of responding to the cultural perspectives of our students; however, we may not know how to adapt. This session explores music curricula that center student voice, nurture community, and sustain cultures in a school community. Using the NSPC learning community as an example, we will examine curriculum implementation that fosters an inclusive community culture.
