Andrew Colyer’s diverse musical career has taken him across the United States, England, Canada, and Japan as a pianist, keyboardist, trumpeter, vocalist, composer, and educator. Classically trained with studies connected to The Juilliard School, Andrew developed a broad musical voice that comfortably bridges progressive rock, jazz, film composition, and solo piano performance. Throughout his career he has performed and collaborated with artists including Tony Levin, Jon Anderson of YES, Robert Berry, Simon Collins, Clark Terry, Louis Bellson, and Marvin Stamm. His original compositions have also been featured in award-winning independent films and multimedia projects. As a recording artist, Andrew released several acclaimed projects including Gift to Gaia, About Time, Christmas Time, and Mists of Time, earning international radio play and recognition from the Global Music Awards. In recent years Andrew has worked closely with the Moog Foundation, including honoring his late friend Keith Emerson by performing in the Moog Music booth during the 2026 NAMM Show. Andrew has expressed deep appreciation for the NAMM Show, recognizing that the relationships and friendships formed throughout the industry are among the most meaningful aspects of his musical journey.
