Retail Membership  

Retail music instrument/product stores, commercial sound studio and equipment rentals, pro audio/lighting retail sales and rentals, music schools with retail sales, and repair shops.   

Retail members have voting rights and are eligible to serve on the NAMM Board of Directors. Members receive NAMM Show badge allotments based on their membership tier.   

Retail Affiliate Membership  

Rental stores, second-hand, vintage and pawn shops.  

Retail Affiliate members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to serve on the NAMM Board of Directors. Members receive NAMM Show badge allotments based on their membership tier.  

Commercial Membership  

Manufacturers, distributors, Luthiers, and Publishers.

Commercial members are eligible to exhibit at The NAMM Show, have voting rights, and are eligible to serve on the NAMM Board of Directors. Members receive NAMM Show badge allotments based on their exhibit booth size.  

Commercial Affiliate Membership  

Supplier of OEM/Components to MI Industry, Publications, Publishers of Instructional Media, and Developers of Music Apps and Recording/Electronic Products.

Commercial Affiliate members are eligible to exhibit at The NAMM Show, do not have voting rights, and are not eligible to serve on the NAMM Board of Directors. Members receive NAMM Show badge allotments based on their exhibit booth size.  

Manufacturer Representative Membership  

Business acting as a sales representative for one or more current NAMM Member manufacturers.   

Manufacturer Representative members have voting rights and are eligible to serve on the NAMM Board of Directors. Members receive NAMM Show badge allotments based on their membership tier.  

Service Provider Membership  

Companies who sell products or services to NAMM Retail or Commercial members. The products or services are not provided for resale or used in manufacturing musical instruments or products. They assist Retail or Commercial NAMM members in conducting their business.  

Service Provider members are eligible to exhibit at The NAMM Show, do not have voting rights, and are not eligible to serve on the NAMM Board of Directors. Members receive NAMM Show badge allotments based on their exhibit booth size.  

Association Membership  

Associations who also represent music products companies, music education, or music industry.   

Assocation members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to serve on the NAMM Board of Directors. Members receive a NAMM Show badge allotment.   

Individual Membership  

Individual professionals who contribute to — and demonstrate a commitment to — the music products industry. Professionals involved in music education, professional audio, entertainment technology, and live event production are eligible for individual membership. 

Members receive a NAMM Show badge.   

 

NAMM Membership Dues  

Starting October 1, 2025, NAMM Membership dues will be as follows:  

Retail, Retail Affiliate, and Manufacturer Representative:  

• Tier I: 1-25 Employees, $450. Includes 10 NAMM Show Badges.    

• Tier II: 26-100 Employees, $750. Includes 25 NAMM Show Badges.  

• Tier III: 101-500 Employees: $2,000. Includes 50 NAMM Show Badges.  

• Tier IV: 501+ Employees: $3,000. Includes 100 NAMM Show Badges.  

Commercial and Commercial Affiliate:  

• Tier I: 1-25 Employees, $450. NAMM Show Badges based on exhibit size.   

• Tier II: 26-100 Employees, $750. NAMM Show Badges based on exhibit size.  

• Tier III: 101-500 Employees: $2,000. NAMM Show Badges based on exhibit size.  

• Tier IV: 501+ Employees: $3,000. NAMM Show Badges based on exhibit size.  

Service Provider: $600. NAMM Show Badges based on exhibit size.   

Association: $1,200. Includes 4 NAMM Show Badges.  

Individual: $150. Includes a NAMM Show Badge.
