Dr. Craig Woodson has had an incredible and impactful journey in music, a journey which continues. Earning his Ph.D. from UCLA in music with a specialization in ethnomusicology, music education and musical instrument technology, Craig created and presented student programs and professional development workshops to countless students of all ages for over 40 years. In 1976, he founded Ethnomusic, Inc., a world music education consultancy that facilitates multicultural instrument-making, educational concerts, school programs and professional development. Among his special adventures in music were studying drumming in Ghana, working at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and playing bongos and drums in several movies with stars such as Elvis Presley and Debbie Reynolds
