Joe Lamberti worked in his uncle’s wood-shop as a kid and recalls helping clean up the family retail store while in grade school. His uncle, Tony, opened a small music retail shop in Melbourne back in 1946. Soon his brother, Joe's father, joined in and the family business grew and expanded. Tony built guitars in the wood-shop and Joe's father made a well-respected valve amplifier. Joe recalls working with his brother, his sister, and their cousins in producing the large 300 plus page catalog. It was a family affair and Joe loved all areas of the business. In recent years, Joe and his brother and sister took over the company, which focuses on the distribution of products in Australia such as Cort Guitars.
