Mike "Monte" Montefusco

Mike “Monte” Montefusco played both trumpet and piano as a kid before playing bass guitar professionally for several years. Like many touring musicians, Monte worked in several local music stores while off the road, which ignited his passion for the music products industry. Beginning in 1996, Monte joined Musicland USA on Long Island where he worked his way up to store manager. During his ten-year tenure at the store, Monte created an early Internet sales program, which caught the attention of Taylor Guitars - who hired him in 2006. Once again, Monte worked his way up in the organization, eventually becoming Vice President of Sales.
