Steve Rorie 2018

Steve Rorie landed a part time job while in high school at the Vincent Bach plant in Elkhart, Indiana. He later worked with his grandfather at EK Blessings, where his father also worked at one time. His passion for how musical instruments are made runs in his blood and over the years, Steve worked his way up from the work bench and buffing room to management and director of manufacturing. In 1985, while working for Selmer, Steve was on the team that moved the Ludwig Drum manufacturing from Chicago to Monroe, North Carolina. In recent years, he has managed the educational and dealer relations for Buffet Crampon, which he feels utilizes his extensive background in management, manufacturing, and customer service.
