Bill Mathews

Bill Mathews is the Executive Director of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians (NAPBIRT).  In that role Bill has expanded the organization’s meaningful education sessions offered during its annual conference, regional clinics, and unique hand-on training at the NAPBIRT Technical Training Center.  NAPBIRT was established in 1976 to provide training, continuing education and face to face networking for band instrument technicians from around the world.  In addition to his day job, Bill has been a key supporter of the NAMM Oral History program, providing suggestions, background and contacts that have resulted in dozens of important interviews with professional band instrument repair techs.
