Dave Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 as a founding guitarist of the band Traffic. Dave’s tenure with Traffic was marked by multiple departures and returns, yet his contributions remained central to the band’s early sound and identity. Beyond the group, he established himself as a highly sought-after session musician, performing on landmark recordings including Electric Ladyland and Beggars Banquet. Following his work with Traffic, Dave pursued a successful solo career highlighted by albums such as Alone Together and Let It Flow, the latter featuring the hit “We Just Disagree.” In addition to his recording career, he collaborated in the design of innovative electric guitars with Ravi Sawhney, including models within the RKS line such as his signature Wave series. His career reflected a lasting influence across rock, songwriting, and studio performance.
