George Kirkwood

George Kirkwood joined the Rodgers Instrument Corporation in the engineering department just five years after the company was founded by Rodgers Jenkins and Fred Tinker. By his fourth year with the company, George had become a Product Engineer, contributing to a number of key innovations and product lines, including the Rodgers Harpsichord and home organ. Following his retirement, George continued his association with Rodgers by working for a local dealer, installing and repairing instruments for another decade before retiring a second time. His passion for Rodgers and pride in the company’s accomplishments were evident in the smile on his face whenever he reminisced about his many years with the company.
