J. Aaron Brown headed Word Publishing in Nashville from 1970 to 1980. Prior to that, he worked with several musical acts, including The Oak Ridge Boys. As a songwriter himself, Aaron brought his personal knowledge and deep passion for music to every project he undertook throughout his career. His A Child’s Gift of Lullabies series earned him eight Grammy nominations and two Grammy Awards for Best Musical Album for Children, helping to open a new market for mothers seeking to bond musically with their babies. The gifts Aaron gave to music continued to benefit us all.
