Oral History Information
Jason Ellis played baseball all throughout school along with his brothers, which might be the reason their father built a baseball training facility in the family’s piano store! His father, David, wanted to keep his boys close to him and thought up the idea for the top floor of the store complete with batting cages, an Astroturf infield and a painted green wall (a homage to the left field wall at Fenway Park). And it worked! David’s sons work in the store to this day. Jason was 12 years old when he helped with college sales and recalls moving hundreds of pianos. He witnessed first-hand the hard work his father gave to the store and takes pride in having the same dedication and passion to carry on the family tradition of serving their customers, resulting in many becoming personal friends.
